Process Management & Digitalization

What We Do

We help organizations make their operations transparent, measurable, and improvable. That starts with process models — not as documentation exercises, but as analytical tools that reveal bottlenecks, redundancies, and optimization opportunities.

Our work covers the full spectrum from initial process discovery to digital workflow implementation:

  • Process mapping and modeling — BPMN 2.0 and ARIS-based process documentation that captures how work actually flows, not just how it’s supposed to
  • Process analysis and optimization — quantitative analysis of cycle times, resource utilization, handoff delays, and exception rates to identify where improvement has the highest impact
  • Process simulation — discrete-event simulation using Petri nets and our Aipokit platform to test changes before implementing them. Answer “what if” questions with data, not opinions
  • Process mining — extracting real process flows from your system logs (ERP, CRM, workflow tools) to see what actually happens vs. what the model says
  • Workflow digitalization — turning validated process models into executable digital workflows with proper data integration, exception handling, and monitoring
  • Continuous improvement systems — building the feedback loops that keep processes improving after the consulting engagement ends

Our Approach

We don’t deliver PowerPoint processes. Every engagement produces working artifacts — executable models, simulation results, or automated workflows. Our Aipokit platform serves as the digital backbone: process models become digital twins that stay synchronized with operational data and enable continuous monitoring.

The academic foundation matters. Formal methods (BPMN 2.0, Coloured Petri nets, process mining algorithms) give us precision that informal approaches can’t match. But every formal artifact is validated against operational reality and built for practitioners, not researchers.

Typical Engagements

  • Process transparency projects — mapping and documenting core processes for organizations starting their digitalization journey or preparing for ISO/GxP audits
  • Bottleneck analysis — targeted process mining and simulation to identify and quantify specific performance problems
  • Workflow automation — designing and implementing digital workflows that replace manual coordination with structured, exception-aware automation
  • Process governance setup — establishing the roles, tools, and practices for ongoing process management beyond project work

Q & A

Ready to start?

Most process documentation describes how work should happen, not how it actually happens. We bridge that gap — validating existing models against reality, identifying where documentation has drifted, and turning static diagrams into living tools that drive decisions. If your documentation is already excellent, we help you build on it with simulation and automation.
Our core experience spans pharma (GxP-regulated processes), financial services, manufacturing, and technology companies. The process management methods are industry-agnostic — BPMN, ARIS, and simulation work the same way everywhere — but we bring deep domain knowledge to regulated and complex environments.
We use our own Aipokit platform for process digitalization and digital twin creation, plus standard BPMN tools (Signavio, Camunda, etc.) when that's what your organization already uses. We're not a reseller for any vendor — we recommend what fits your situation.
A focused process mapping and optimization project typically runs 4-8 weeks. A full digitalization initiative — from process discovery through workflow automation — is usually 3-6 months. We always start with a scoped pilot to prove value before committing to a larger program.
